Homecoming Float Building

Our FFA chapter will work together to design, build, and decorate a homecoming float for our high school's annual homecoming parade. Members will begin by brainstorming ideas and selecting a theme that represents both our chapter and our school spirit. Once the design is finalized, members will measure the trailer, assemble the float's structure, paint materials, and securely attach decorations to create an attractive and safe display. Throughout the project, chapter members will work in teams to complete different tasks, including planning, construction, painting, decorating, and final safety inspections. This hands-on activity will give members the opportunity to develop practical skills such as measuring, problem-solving, communication, and organization while learning the importance of working safely with tools and materials along with team building skills.
